TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Every applicant wishing to enter the Desarrolladores de Café courses must know and accept the terms and conditions stipulated here:

• The training provided by Desarrolladores de Café is informal education, which is regulated by decree 2888 of July 31, 2007, article 38, indicating that informal education aims to provide opportunities to acquire, improve, renew, or deepen knowledge, skills, techniques, and practices. This educational offer includes courses with a duration of less than one hundred sixty (160) hours. Their organization, offer, and development do not require registration by the Education Secretariat of the certified territorial entity and will only result in the issuance of an attendance certificate. Any promotion related to this modality must clearly indicate that it is informal education and does not lead to any degree or occupational aptitude certificate.

• Desarrolladores de Café grants training during the stipulated time in each program, in the informal education modality, without adherence to degrees and at its sole discretion, from the date classes begin.

• The student agrees that they know the thematic content, duration, schedule, and cost of the academic program, and must adhere to the study plan in force at the time of admission or readmission.

• Desarrolladores de Café commits to delivering the material corresponding to the program; the delivery of material will depend on the program’s structure and the modules it involves on different dates. Total or partial reproduction of the material provided by Desarrolladores de Café is prohibited; it is the sole and exclusive property of the Institution and company.

• Desarrolladores de Café will issue attendance certificates only to those students who have attended 80% of classes; these will be issued by the Academic Department free of charge once (1) only; any copy or correction of the certificate will have a cost equivalent to one day’s current legal monthly minimum wage.

• Desarrolladores de Café reserves the right to modify and/or cancel the dates and/or times of the training programs it offers.
• The obligations acquired by the student with third parties are the exclusive responsibility of the student; Desarrolladores de Café has no involvement in these matters.

• The training service offered by Desarrolladores de Café is personal and non-transferable.

• Every simulation and exam stipulated in the program must be taken within the times established by Desarrolladores de Café.

REFUND REQUESTS

• A 100% refund will be made only for reasons attributable to Desarrolladores de Café when Desarrolladores de Café postpones the program for a period equal to or greater than two (2) months, or because Desarrolladores de Café cancels the academic program.
• A 50% refund will be made for reasons attributable to the student when the request is made more than 30 calendar days before the scheduled start date of the course in which they enrolled. (All refunds will be processed within a maximum of 30 calendar days). The student must submit the request in writing to somos@desarrolladores.cafe and give prior notice to WhatsApp +57350637773.
• Any request made within 15 days prior to the scheduled start date of the program in which the student enrolled WILL NOT have the right to a refund, but may opt for postponement according to the conditions described in this document.

• Desarrolladores de Café commits to refunding the money to the student according to the procedure described above.
• Non-payment exempts Desarrolladores de Café from fulfilling its respective obligations; however, the student must comply with the agreed payments to avoid legal collection.

POSTPONEMENTS

• The student who, due to force majeure, decides to postpone the program they are taking must request it at least 15 days in advance in writing; this request will be studied by the academic area, and Desarrolladores de Café will have the autonomy to approve or reject said request. Remember that every request must be accompanied by its respective supporting documentation.
• Health issues – (attach medical certificate)
• Business trip – (business certification)
• Maternity leave – (attach license)
• Others (e.g., Domestic Calamity).
• If the postponement request is not processed or is made after the training has ended, the student will lose their student status, will not be able to retake the course, and will have no right to any refund.
• The maximum postponement time is four (4) months subject to the scheduling of Desarrolladores de Café courses; otherwise, they must retake it as soon as it is scheduled by Desarrolladores de Café.
• Once the material is delivered, Desarrolladores de Café will not be responsible for updates and/or modifications upon resuming the program.
• Postponing the program does not exempt payment of the agreed installments.

• Desarrolladores de Café establishes the following channels to address all requests:

  • WhatsApp from the website.

CONDITIONS ABOUT TRAINING COURSES

• The content of the courses is protected under copyright laws, and any copy, imitation, counterfeiting, including uploading or downloading via Torrents, P2P programs, or “second-hand” sales, will be penalized by law. Desarrolladores de Café reserves the right to automatically cancel the subscription of any user exhibiting irregular behavior.

• The content of any course purchased on Desarrolladores de Café is offered on an individual and personal basis. Any group or company wishing to take any of the courses must contact Desarrolladores de Café before making the purchase. Sharing this course with other members of a group or company after making an individual purchase is considered piracy and may be penalized by law. Desarrolladores de Café reserves the right to cancel the subscription of an account to its corresponding course if this behavior is detected. Cancellation does not imply a refund of the amount paid by the client as the content is training and not a physical product with the possibility of return.

• The payment for the course is one-time, and the benefits and privileges it provides are tied to the entire useful life of the course.

• Course support for doubts is aimed at questions the student might have related to what was covered in the course. Instructors reserve the right to resolve or not resolve questions from students that are not related to the course.
