Mikava Estates is a project between two coffee enthusiasts. Paul Doyle and his son Kevin. Together they own two farms, both located in the department of Risaralda. The main one is in Marsella, the one that won the 2019 Cup of Excellence in Santuario. The largest production is of the Geisha variety, but they also produce Sudan Rume, SL 28, Bourbon and several ancient varieties from Ethiopia.

Our alliance
Since 2017 we have been working in partnership with the Doyle family to grow our coffee companies together. We dedicated several years to experimentation with processing, cupping and feedback and since 2017 we have been exporting coffees worldwide.

Competition coffees
We won in 2020 with Ethiopia Celestial in the Natural Process with Carbonic Maceration first place at the Kaffeepanel – a Swiss roasted coffee competition.
Also, in 2021 we reached second place in the national Filter Coffee championship of Germany.
