La finca La Victoria produces a sweet coffeesweet
Origin GAITANIA, Tolima
Paola Orozco is a young coffee grower from southern Tolima. She was born among her parents’ coffee plantations and has now started her own family farm together with her husband and son.
When her son was born, the family planted a lot of Wush-wush and is also beginning to produce Bourbon Pointu, also known as Laurina. This variety naturally has 50% less caffeine, making it perfect for consumption at night.
- Sweet, fruity coffee for all day
- Organic farming
- Conservation of native flora and fauna
Our alliance
Since 2022, we have been working hand in hand with Paola and her family. The first lot was a washing experiment:
A cherry oxidation for 72 hours, then the coffee was depulped and fermented in mucilage for 12 hours submerged in water.
It was very important for Paola to also work with her parents’ coffee because they have spent their whole lives working hard in the field without having had a fair ally in recognition.
- Roasted coffee commercialization
- Green coffee export
- Innovation in processes
Ecological farm
For the Orozco Silva family, it was logical to want to live in a healthy environment, free of agrochemicals. Biodiversity, organic fertilizers, and care for their own health and the planet’s health are sought.
The three are putting all their effort into conserving nature and producing specialty coffees. We know they will go very far <3.
