We hull your coffee
In Colombia, farms produce coffee in dry Parchment or, in the case of naturals, dry cherry.
We offer our hulling service for all processes: honeys, washed, and naturals. Hulling reveals the physical quality. Remember that you should deliver the coffee in these conditions to achieve the best possible roasting result:
- Moisture between 9.5% - 12.5%
- Free from contamination
- We roast coffees starting from meeting Clean Cup standards
- We offer coffee drying services
- We do not hull or roast floaters
Our hulling equipment consists of a huller, screens to separate the grain by size and remove the small screen, which mostly consists of broken beans. Additionally, we offer manual selection service depending on availability.
WE ROAST, grind, pack, and seal your coffee
Maybe you already have your own coffee brand or are thinking about starting one. At Desarrolladores we advise you, explain the step-by-step process, and have our own health registration. Together we will improve the quality of your coffee in each microlot.
You can sell coffee beans, ground coffee, your own brand, or become an ambassador of our coffees.

Coffee maquila
We are transparent in every step of the process. You can be present and ensure full traceability: from the coffee in dry parchment to the number of bags packed with whole or ground coffee. We always cup 1 day after roasting each batch. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to see how we handle your coffee. Your specialty coffee deserves the same attention whether for the national market or for export.

Only a perfect roast for your raw material can unlock all the potential. A few seconds can turn a competition-level coffee into an ordinary coffee.
We are experts and have German precision to guarantee the best possible quality. You can’t perform magic by roasting coffee, but it’s very easy to roast a coffee badly.
Roast your own coffee
Do you want to roast your own coffee yourself? We are the first co-roasting space in Medellín. You can schedule your appointment and roast your own coffee. And of course, we accompany and advise you if there is any problem.
To roast on the machine, you must have completed a roasting course with us, or you necessarily have to take the handling course of our Roaster.

At Desarrolladores de Café you find roasting service. We contract roast your coffee with the same care that we roast ours. Whether you are a coffee grower, have a coffee brand, or simply want to roast your own coffee, we help you.
A single defective bean could damage the quality of the roasted batch. There are many defects in coffee that occur naturally. That is why it is important not only to remove the parchment in the threshing but also to pick the best beans. Black beans, for example, taste like earth, mold, and sometimes even rotten meat. Several beans with insect damage or severe insect damage can cause a defect called phenol, and it tastes like a mixture of pills and iodine. Therefore, we recommend that coffee always be selected before roasting.
