Heat the water

Always use fresh water, if possible filtered. We recommend activated carbon filters. You will need it to purge the filter and preheat your cup.

How many times have you seen the roasting process of your coffee? We invite you to be part of and be present at the roasting, whenever you want. You can take some good photos for your brand, watch over the process, and have 100% Transparency. We roast every Wednesday, and if you need to roast more than three batches, we can agree on the roasting day. We deliver on the day we schedule.

CO-ROASTING IN MEDELLÍN
Do you want to roast your own coffee yourself? We are the first co-roasting space in Medellin. You can schedule your appointment and roast your own coffee. Obviously, we accompany and advise you if there is any problem.
Requirements
We roast your green coffee. You must meet these quality standards:
- The coffee must be hulled
- Humidity between 9.5% – 12.5%
- Free from any contamination

COFFEE ROASTING SERVICE OR ROAST CONTRACTING IN MEDELLÍN
At DDC you will find the roasting service. We contract your coffee with the same care that we roast ours. If you are a coffee grower, have a coffee brand, or simply want to roast your own coffee, we help you. It is very important that you bring your hulled and selected coffee to obtain the best possible quality.
A single defective bean sometimes damages the quality of all the coffee in the batch. There are many defects in coffee that occur naturally. That is why it is important not only to remove the parchment during hulling but also to select the best beans. Black beans sometimes taste like earth, mold, and sometimes even rotten meat. Several beans with coffee borer or severe coffee borer can generate a defect called phenol that tastes like a mixture of pills and iodine. That is why we recommend always selecting the coffee before roasting.
