Peach x lime x ginger
Discover the flavor of Colombia in our coffee:
FRUTAL
Wilder Lazo is a Rockstar in the Huila department. His coffees are tremendous, complex, and innovative. The last batch he sent us is a Bourbon Rayado in washed process.
Our sales manager Manuela Vásquez fell in love with coffee because of Wilder’s coffees.
Peach, lime, ginger.

Our commitment
Each bag of coffee carries two commitments from Desarrolladores de Café.
On one side are the people producing the coffee: coffee growers who almost always get up before dawn to give us the best their farm can offer: the best possible quality. We cup each batch to ensure its quality.
On the other side is you: we commit to roasting each batch with the utmost care to highlight the best attributes in the cup. Do not hesitate to contact us to ask for the cupping notes of each batch. We always cup.
Excellent coffees, because good is not enough.
The protagonist of frutal is:
Wilder Lazo
There are open people, eager to support others and produce exotic coffees, they are very likely like Wilder. We started working with him in 2018.
A family that works together, stays together. First, they improved the soil pH and then they became demanding: the more exotic, the more interesting and better.
The first coffee was the Pink Bourbon that tasted purely of strawberry. From this lot, we got to know the variety of Wilder’s two farms. In March 2019, we were lucky to visit them and discover a paradise of varieties: Ají Bourbons, Yellows, Pinks, Reds, and Cider, Red and Yellow Pacamara, Maragogipe, Geisha, SL-28, SL-34, in short: whatever you are looking for, Wilder already has it. And more than that, he is supremely dedicated to improving his coffees every day.
Wilder not only helps his family but the entire San Adolfo region.
And why is it FRUITAL?
Wilder’s coffees are always fruity. They are always aromatic. Wilder calls it precision agriculture which generates incredibly complex notes.
He explains to us: if you are going to run a marathon without preparing properly by training, but also by feeding yourself, you will never finish well or in good time. Maybe you get there, but at what cost?
Wilder’s coffee plantations are extremely healthy, with well-nourished soils and he simply loves to process the coffees with lots of refrigerated fermentation: this way he achieves super clean coffees, with character.
Because of the territory, its varieties, and the excellent nutrition of the soils.
